Group Email Dos and Don’ts

I recently received an email from a member of our community. The email went out to 246 residents exposing everyone’s email addresses. This member should have used the Bcc: (Blind copy) line to include all the resident’s email addresses and used their own email address in the To: line, thus hiding all the intended receiver email addresses.

ALWAYS use the Blind Copy (Bcc) when emailing a group email. Once these email addresses are out on everyone’s computer, they are all at risk.
